IT is advancing by such leaps and bounds that it’s hard to keep up. Think of everything relating to artificial intelligence, data analysis, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and much more. The ever so topical training programme S.He goes Digital brings these trends to a diverse audience to enrich the professional practices of both IT professionals and non-IT individuals.

As a top volleyball player in the Serbian and Belgian leagues, Milica Misojcic knows how to stay at the top. It takes a great deal of passion, continuous effort, and frequent training, whereas those standing on the sidelines cannot possibly compete at a high level.

The same holds true for IT, as experienced by the Billing Architect at Proximus. She demonstrates a tremendous drive to have a positive impact. "That's why I was so pleased with my selection for S.He goes Digital.”

Strategic IT trends

"My ambition is to grow," says Misojcic. "I want to draw on my knowledge and passion to bring significant added value to Proximus and society. During the IT programme at the ULB and the VUB, I learned about the latest technology and strategic trends in IT, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, IT strategy, governance, and much more."

Practice-oriented training

Practice is prominently present in S.He goes Digital. Moreover, the practice-oriented lessons and projects are made maximally accessible for both IT and non-IT profiles, men and women of diverse nationalities.

"The instructors and cases came from the business world. At the same time, I always kept my work environment in mind and how the experience and knowledge I gained could be applied within Proximus."

"One of the training projects I am proud of is our study on an AI-based IT solution for a pleasant end-to-end customer experience. The paper on how digitisation can contribute to SDG objectives was also enriching for me."

Strengthening strategy

Is her manager and mentor, Antonietta Mastroianni, Chief Digital & IT Officer at Proximus, equally positive? Absolutely. "At Proximus, we promote diversity and inclusion. We provide opportunities for growth and training. Milica seized them with both hands. She showed great motivation and dedication to being part of this journey. Now she is very enthusiastic about bringing those new experiences and contributing to areas that are in line with our business goals and strategy."

I am particularly proud of our study on an AI-based IT solution for a pleasant end-to-end customer experience.

This case is a practical example from 'Technology for a better world', Agoria's sustainability strategy for the technology industry. That strategy contains a roadmap with concrete commitments linked to measurable performance indicators that companies can work on, divided into 12 action domains. Proximus' case illustrates the action domain 'Diversity and inclusion'.
