Study: ‘Digital is a mindset’
What are success factors for digitalization?
What opportunities does digitisation hold in store for your company? And what is the secret of a successful digital transformation? A study conducted among 400 Belgian industrial SMEs reveals the key success factors.
In the run up to the DigiCoach programme, we conducted in-depth interviews with 400 companies. Three subdomains of digitisation were covered:
- Digitisation of business processes
- Digital innovation
- Digital business culture
The survey results are represented in this 40-page study, along with seven golden rules for the successful implementation of a digital culture in your company.
Who took part in this study?
The participating industrial SMEs had 10 to 250 employees and stemmed from the following sectors: ‘industry’, ‘food’, ‘chemistry’, ‘textiles and furniture’ and ‘industrial services’ (such as wholesale in machinery and engineering firms). We performed the study in cooperation with research firm Kantar. The telephone interviews occurred in July and August 2019 with C-level profiles from companies active in services (22%), goods (54%) or both (24%).
