On 04/05/2022, Agoria invited Mr Guido Lemeire, CIO NMBS & CEO Ypto, to present his team, his services, the coming investments and the main challenges. Download the presentations here.
Ypto advises and supports the NMBS in the development and implementation of its digital transformation. This includes the digitalisation of processes and the presentation of innovative solutions in order to constantly improve a modern and comfortable travel experience for 250 million train users.
Ypto has already tested many solutions and implemented proof of concept (PoC). The team is looking for concrete solutions to the following challenges:
- Solutions for human resources and technical staff training, such as HR tools, augmented reality systems for maintenance, repairs, quality control...
- Passenger information and rail infotainment, with a focus on applications that enhance the passenger experience
- Monitoring of passenger flows in trains and stations
- Multimodality: MaaS solutions for planning, booking and paying for an integrated journey with different types of mobility services
