Based on the major challenges ahead, the labour market is high on the agenda of policymakers at various policy levels. Given the ambition to see 8 out of 10 people between 20 and 64 in work, measures are naturally being developed, some more pertinently than others. A collection of measures and visions is provided below:
- According to labour market expert Jeroen Franssen, the measures that the federal government is putting on the table with the labour deal are 'bumbling around’ and 'a waste of time for a labour market that is on fire'.
