Last December, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen launched the 'Green Deal' to make the EU Carbon neutral by 2050.
In March, the European Commission will put forward both the new 'Circular Economy Action Plan' as part of the Green Deal, together with the new 'EU Industrial Policy'. These indicate the direction of European economic and investment policy for the next 10 years. The focus is on sustainable growth, but digitization is also central. The principles of the circular economy form the basis for this.
At the invitation of Agoria, KurtVandenberghe, European Green Deal Advisor at the cabinet of the European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen, will explain the European Green Deal on Thursday March 19 and what it entails for the technology sector.
- We’ll dig deeper into the opportunities of the circular economy and the new European industrial policy.
- We’ll identify the needs and opportunities that the European Green Deal offers our companies.
