Kinepolis kicks off summer with "Kinepolis On Tour", a series of drive-in movies throughout Flanders. The giant screens that will be used at each location, are provided by HD Ledshine, a member of Agoria's Sports & Entertainment Technology Club.

Three years ago, HD Ledshine from Denderleeuw launched the “largest mobile screen in the world”. This huge, 144 m2 screen of 16 metres (width) by 9 metres (height) displays 4K image quality. A year later, a second identical screen was introduced as well.

This summer, Kinepolis will rely on these supersize record technologies for its “Kinepolis on Tour“ series of drive-in movies throughout Flanders.

The ideal solution, as it turns out, because 'mobile' can be taken quite literally. The screen will change locations every week, which is perfectly feasable with an average assembly and disassembly time of one to two hours for HD Ledshine. The drive-in spectacle will start in Maldegem from 3 to 7 July and will then move to Bilzen. More locations will be announced later.
