Gears and Transmission Units
The Gears & Transmission Units group consists of manufacturers and distributors of gears, gear housing, transmission units and their components to be used in various markets, such as the automotive, industrial drives and wind energy markets.
- A national group of company managers and plant managers represents the sector and meets biannually. The group pursues the interests of the sector as a whole and works on specific topics, such as digitisation, factories of the future, Industry 4.0, new technologies, specialized training courses, normalisation and market monitoring.
- The group represents the members at the European level in the EUROTRANS umbrella organisation and monitors the same topics at the international level.
- The group organises high-level network activities and inspiring company visits.
- Technical regulations are monitored by EUROTRANS.
CLEPA Innovation Awards 2020: Call for applications now open! The European Association of Automotive Suppliers, in cooperation with Deloitte, organises what has become a prime competition in the automotive supply industry. Underlining the diversity and variety in the sector, this contest is now open to all companies–including SMEs and startups–, research centres, educational institutions, other organisations and stakeholders participating in the development of mobility technology. Therefore, Agoria is happy to disseminate this call for application of the CLEPA Innovation Awards 2020 and encourages its members to participate.
