This training is intented for your staff operating & maintaining industrial pump installations. It offers basic and clear understanding for technicians in the field needing a thorough understanding of frequently used industrial pumps systems and the hydraulics principles that govern their operation.
Participants receive after completing of the training an Agoria certificate of particpation.
The training is given by Pierre Plateus who has an extensive career in the international pump industry and has trained pumps professionals all over the world. Pierre Plateus has served for many years on the board of Europump.org, the European Association of Pump Manufacturers where he participated in the development of multiple technical pump standards.
The second trainer is Dirk Bracke , Chairman of the Belgian Pump Users Association (De Pompenkring vzw) and Machine Technology Manager and Projects of Ineos Oxide, who has a lot of experience in the selection, purchase, maintenance and troubleshooting of pumpsystems and other machines, in the petrochemical industry.
During this 4-days course, a wide range of topics is explored, including:
- Classification of pumps (difference between centrifugal and volumetric)
- Cavitation - Recirculation
- Influence of the nature of the pumped liquid
- Pumping station
- Accessories for pumps and pumping stations
- European legislation on energy consumption
- Troubleshooting of pumps
The entire subject matter is extensively illustrated with examples and best practices.
The course is brought in English and Dutch, participants can ask questions to the trainers in Dutch or French.
Participants will receive the course material on the first day of the training, course material in English.
